This kitchen in a 1980s colonial had dark oak cabinets, worn laminate countertops, poor lighting, and a closed-off layout that made the space feel small and dark. The homeowners wanted a modern, open kitchen that could serve as the hub of their home.
What We Did
- Removed a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and family room, installing a steel beam to create an open-concept space
- Installed custom white shaker cabinets that extend to the ceiling with soft-close doors and drawers
- Added a large center island with seating for four and a prep sink
- Installed quartz countertops throughout with a waterfall edge on the island
- New porcelain tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern
- Recessed LED lighting throughout plus pendant lights over the island
- All new plumbing and electrical including dedicated circuits for new appliances
- Luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the kitchen and family room for a continuous, cohesive look

Master Bathroom Overhaul — Morris County, NJ
This master bathroom hadn't been updated since the house was built in 1992. It had a builder-grade vanity, a basic tub-shower combo with dated tile, vinyl flooring, and a single overhead light. The homeowners wanted a spa-like retreat.
What We Did
- Gutted the entire bathroom down to the studs
- Installed a large walk-in shower with frameless glass enclosure, rainfall showerhead, handheld sprayer, and custom tile niche
- Floor-to-ceiling porcelain tile in the shower in a large-format marble look
- Freestanding soaking tub positioned under the window

Custom Composite Deck — Passaic County, NJ
The existing wood deck on this raised ranch was rotting, sagging, and frankly unsafe. The railings were loose, the stairs were wobbly, and the boards had splinters everywhere. The family had stopped using it entirely.
What We Did
- Demolished the old deck completely, including the ledger board and all footings
- Poured new concrete footings to code depth
- Built a new frame with pressure-treated lumber and hurricane ties
- Installed Trex composite decking in a rich espresso color
- Added composite railings with aluminum balusters for a sleek, modern look
- Built a wide staircase with integrated LED riser lights
- Added post cap lights for ambient evening lighting

Exterior Brick and Facade Renovation — Essex County, NJ
The exterior of this home had deteriorating brick, crumbling mortar, and dated siding that made the whole property look tired. The curb appeal was poor, and the homeowners were embarrassed to host guests.
What We Did
- Repointed all deteriorating mortar joints in the existing brick
- Replaced damaged bricks to match the existing pattern and color
- Installed new stone veneer accent on the front facade columns
- Replaced the old siding with new, modern cladding
- New front door and trim work
- Updated exterior lighting
- Fresh exterior paint on all trim and accent areas
